PC Revamp (Paul) has put 2 weeks of hard graft in to help find the issue my pc was facing and not only resolved is a speedy manner but the service was impeccable. The issue - I had a gaming PC with a AMD Ryzen 9 5950x, MSI 3090 GPU, Gigybyte X570 Asorus Master motherboard, 64gb GSKILl RAM 3600mhz. Essentially when I built the PC the bios would always reset the XMP profile meaning the RAM speed was always set to 2133mhz. This would mean not only I don’t get the performance but when loading up my pc it would take 3-5 mins then for me to reset it to get into the BIOS to speed up the RAM. I had lived with the issue for nearly 4 years and then finally lost my shit when people with consoles were quicker then me XD. In this time I had contacted the RAM provider and the motherboard provider both which couldn���t help me. PC Revamp to the rescue. I had used their services when Paul was first starting out of his home with my IPhone 5c. This was a while ago. I contacted PC Revamp via Facebook who replied the next day. I messaged them on a Sunday when they were closed. I dropped off my PC, which by the way is massive and is good for a coffee table. PC Revamp kept me updated throughout and took around a week to diagnose the issue. I must stress this PC issue, was super hard to find and I would have never of found it. PC Revamp tried many resolutions, bought in some RAM to test it on the board. PC Revamp were doing gods work in the BIOS. Changed the CMOS battery. It turns out after a lot of testing the motherboard is just rubbish. At first the BIOS was 3 years old (my fault) but it didn’t like any settings saving. A day later I bought a new Motherboard (ASUS ROG x570) which has one less M.2 NVME space. PC Revamp looked at this storage and copied it over to my other SSD,s so I would loose data. Installed the new board instantly and left it a day to make sure the BIOS settings would save. BOOM it worked. I have had the PC at home for a couple of days and NO issues at all. I can’t thank the team enough. This is very unique issue and they solved it. The best part is the price. I was super worried when I left the PC for that long that the diagnostic and the installation of the new motherboard would be a lot of labour costs. However the price was super reasonable. Nothing was damaged and it even looks like the PC had some compressed air to clean it out too. I would recommend PC Revamp highly and will 100 percent be using again. Next time I won’t wait 4 years. PS when I upgrade I will stay away from Gigybyte. Great business! I smashed my iPhone screen at the start of the year which was fitted with a new one. This week the screen had started being randomly intermittent - true to their lifetime warranty, within 24 hours of contacting the business, the screen was confirmed as a fault and replaced in just over an hour.
