JD Sports Monks Cross York

Been in store twice this week to pick up online orders and both times staff members giving bad attitude, sighing, eye rolling and chewing gum with mouths open chewing whilst serving on the til. As someone who works in the same company at 'size?' Having had the same JD training as the staff there it was not a good look. Wouldn't recommend going in if you can avoid it. Although the online to store process is simple and fast I can’t fault that

I was absolutely appalled last Sunday by a young male employee working next to the shoes. I approached him and asked if he would be able to get my size in a style of shoe. I was met by him rolling his eyes and exhaling loudly. After 20 minutes of waiting, I went back to the same spot to find him flirting with female blonde employees when he was meant to be finding my shoe size in the back. I asked him where my shoe was and I was met with the response “ Mate we close in 15 minutes, this is a waste of my time”. I then asked a lovely young blonde girl who was more than happy to assist me instead. I asked for his name and found out he was called Isaac. He tarnished this companies reputation and my experience, management need to do something about him!!!

A few days ago I went into Jd sports at monks cross. I approached the store manager to ask a few questions but was met with a person who had no idea what he was talking about. Also, he was extremely rude and acted like he wasn’t really bothered about me or any other customer in the store. Afterwards I approach another colleague who was extremely lovely and took great care. All staff are really helpful however sadly the store manager did not seem like he had a clue how to run a store.

Went into JD monks cross this morning ignored!! Only two customers in the shop!! Told changing rooms couldn’t be opened as there was only two members of staff !! Young girl just leant on the side ignoring customers!! Didn’t buy the hoodie I wanted!! & walked out !!! Very poor customer service.

Terrible attitude from young female staff working today. Couldn’t find a single staff member when trying to purchase some trainers at the front. (Other customers had the same issue) Went to the tills to ask for the help and the young girl couldn’t care less, just said look around for staff as we can’t help you here. Definitely not worth my time or money so just left.
