Totally Awesome York

Absolutely incredible find! We took a 4 hour trip up to York this week and stumbled across this amazing family run toy shop. Managed to grab some of the new Pokémon set and was met with a friendly welcome. Amazing prices and even managed to snag the chase card of the set! Very happy customers indeed.

We visited Totally Awesome game shop in York and loved it! Staff were so lovely, inviting and friendly. Definitely check them out if you are into your games when you visit :) We were also very impressed with the lollypop stick full re-creation of the York Minster in the front window!!

I'd been struggling to find the expansion Age of Giants for Kingdomino in the UK for ages and was even considering a US seller on Ebay (so a high cost) in desperation when I came across Totally Awesome York online who had it in stock, life (and bank balance) savers! It was swiftly dispatched and arrived in secure packaging/perfect condition, the handwritten thank you note inside from Jo and Sarah was a really nice touch as well. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend to others in a heart beat. Thank you TAY, you are for sure Awesome!

We loved this shop, really good selection of games for all ages and in the middle there’s a table full of games that are for sale in the shop so you can play the game before you buy it, we were served by Jo who was very informative in telling us how to play the games and trialling them with us and recommended games too. We bought the Cobra paw which we trial played in the shop and we also really liked the ghost blitz, would definitely recommend this fun, interactive shop.

What a great place to find that unique or just ordinary toy or game. Joe is very knowledgeable about what they have. Also when you come here you can view the York Minster that has been created with matchsticks. It’s awesome. It’s worth the visit.
