There are 4 aisles of toys within the whsmith store. Very disappointing when we've travelled over 50 miles to the nearest toys r us. Nothing like it was years ago

Man! These people will now think that there's a toys r us in here! they defuncted! Remember? Toys r us closed because of bankruptcy and people still claim it's here!
We visited here whilst on a day trip to York. We are from a small lincolnshire village so we have missed 'Toys R us' since the nearest one in Hull closed many years ago. So we were excited to find out there was a 'proper' toy shop that my 4 year old could visit and spend some holiday money in. Lots of choice and prices were actually really reasonable.
absolutely loved it. perfect for nostalgia and for the kids!!! kind staff, amazing opening event and the geoffrey costume is in the best condition i ever saw! good luck for the other relaunch's! :)
