Our stay at Saint George’s Keep in York was delightful. Perfectly located in the city’s heart, every detail was meticulously crafted, from plush slippers for our stay to the gift basket of goodies on our arrival. Leslie and Joanne took care of anything we needed and the historic charm made it unforgettable. Highly recommend this gem for a cozy, flawless experience in York.
Highly recommend! Accommodating and responsive hosts, fantastic location, everything you need including comfy beds! We stayed on some warmer days and although there is no air conditioning the hosts ensured there were numerous fans which worked very well. They also allowed us to leave our bags after checkout which was very helpful. Thanks so much!
A beautiful modern apartment with a wonderful warming feel to it. As we had just got married we arrived and there was lovely bottle of champaign and balloons for us which really made us feel welcome. Possibly the nicest apartment we've stayed in anywhere would recommend to anyone.
Excellent location within a few minutes walk of the Minster/Shambles and everything else. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Easy access to each floor via a lift or staircase. The welcome hamper was impressive. Secure luggage storage is available f.o.c. if you don't want to rush away after check out. The owners seem to have thought of everything. Will definitely stay here again next time in York.
We spent 2 nights at this beautiful, modern apartment and everything you could want or need was thought of and provided, from milk to cooling fans in each room. The living room was very homely and relaxing and the kitchen and bedrooms suited our needs perfectly and was like home from home. Great location close to all York's attractions and centre, with most things 5-10 minutes away and surrounded by fantastic pubs, shops and museums. Kings Staithe boat landing and river walk was 2 minutes away and provided a beautiful riverside walk and perfect opportunity to catch a boat ride or sit in the sunshine with a pint at The Kings Arms.
