Moorgarth Guest House

A great guest house. The host was friendly & helpful. The room was clean & comfortable with a homely atmosphere. Perfectly situated, only minutes away from the centre of York & the main tourist attractions. I'm very happy to have found this place & I would definitely stay here again in the future. Would highly recommend to others. 5 stars from me. Thank you Moorgarth for an enjoyable stay in the wonderful city of York!

Yet again another fantastic stay. With the lovely hosts. Heidi and Greg. Always feels like coming home. Ideal location.rooms immaculate. And a delicious full English breakfast couldn’t ask for anymore Nothing is too much trouble. We turn up leave the car in a safe place. And enjoy the Christmas market. Xx thank you both. Was met with a lovely welcome from Heidi and my room was clean and warm had everything that I needed. Greg and Heidi were lovely hosts and have a beautiful guest house, so close to the centre of York. Will definitely be returning as I need to try there lovely breakfast that they offer. Anyone looking for a guesthouse this is your place xx

Lovely guest house - convenient for town and parking on site. Greg was very welcoming. Bonus feature was the gorgeous Victorian tiled floor! Breakfast served to the room which was unusual but also a treat! No hesitation in recommending!

This is a beautiful place to stay in York! Heidi and Greg were so welcoming and helpful. My en suite room was perfect for my trip - the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and stocked with everything I needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! It’s in a great location, about a 20-minute walk from the city centre or a short bus journey. I cannot recommend this place enough!
