A warm welcome awaits at The Ship Inn, located on the River Ouse in the beautiful village of Acaster Malbis just four miles from York.

Set in a picturesque location with views down the river, we are in the perfect location to tour North Yorkshire.

A traditional pub servingfreshly prepared, home cooked food, made to your individual order from Wednesday to Saturday, and on Sundays we serve a great Sunday Lunch. We are passionate about the quality of our food, and our meat, fish and vegetables all come from trusted local suppliers.

The Ship is the ideal place to relax, catch up with family and friends and dine in comfort. We have a friendly bar, perfect for a pint by our open fire or a meal with friends and always have a range of Yorkshire cask ales on tap. Our conservatory dining room is perfect for larger gatherings and we can accommodate large group meals and functions of all types. Please call to discuss your individual requirements.

Our large beer garden is the perfect place to relax with a pint or a glass of prosecco on a sunny afternoon, with beautiful views of the river. We have a large car park and 120 feet of boat mooring for river users.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in our beer garden, bar areas and our snug by the fire.

We are wheelchair friendly but would request that visitors with special requirements call ahead so we can ensure a suitable table is available.

Our 6 letting bedrooms provide an excellent base for exploring York and the surrounding countryside.
