Here again for our trip to the York Christmas market. Always a pleasure to stay here, very quiet and peaceful. Although no toilet or shower facilities there is fresh water, grey and black waste disposal and good reliable electric hook up. 30 minutes bus ride into York and a shopping retail park 15 minute walk away
Great Site for a stop over when visiting York. 10 min walk to Park & Ride No 9 Bus to centre.Secure Barriers with code Water + EHU , Chemical Waste Disposal + Grey Waste Disposal. Will visit again, thank you, Chris and Sue.
Perfect wee gem of a campsite on the outskirts of York. It has the feel of a countryside site but only 10 mins by Park & Ride bus next door or easily walkable to reach the heart of York. It has only 8 plots (so book in advance) with electric connection and the usual waste / grey water facilities. It has a secure gate with keypad entry. There is no toilet / shower block so you need your own but at £25 per night it is amazing value. The owners were great and helpful. If you are coming to York and you're looking for peace and quiet, this is for you... 😎👍
Great little site. Secure and well laid out. Water and waste facilities are adequate for the size of site. Perfectly situated to visit York, with the park and ride within an easy walk. Plus if you need it plenty of shops on the retail park from Aldi to M&S and GoOutdoors. Would also be a good stopover en route to or from a longer trip.
Perfect for a stripped down, overnight visit to York. Reasonably priced, efficient communications, safe and accessible.
