York Caravan Park & Storage

We have recently returned from a five-night stay at York Caravan Park and thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and pleasant experience. We stayed on a fully serviced, level pitch, which included its own picnic bench and fire pit. The shower facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Each individual shower room was equipped with a toilet, sink, spacious shower with constant hot water (no push-button system), hairdryer, and underfloor heating, which was particularly welcome during the very cold, icy weather. We would recommend bringing a personal bath mat. Additional facilities included a designated room for washing dishes, as well as washing machines and a dryer. This area also provided books, games, videos, and useful local information. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. A bus stop is conveniently located just outside the entrance, providing easy access to York in approximately 20 minutes. A day return ticket costs £9.60 for two adults. York was as charming as ever, although understandably very busy. We would highly recommend York Caravan Park and hope to return in the future. Thank you for an excellent stay.

We have just stayed here for the 1st time for 3 nights and will definitely be coming back. It is now one of our favourite sites. Large spacious hardstanding pitches with small hedges in between for privacy. A very helpful, knowledgable gentleman checked us in and gave us lots of information. Amazing, immaculate toilet/shower block. Bus stop outside to get into York (£3 each adult) and we got Ubers back (no more than £8.00). Excellent site!!

We stayed here for 2 nights and has to be the best peaceful site in York(adults only). Lovely welcome from the wardens. Our pitch was a, fully serviced pitch which we found very spacious and our own firepit and bench. The grounds are very well kept and the facilities were cosy warm with its own loo, sink and toilet and very private. The bus stop is located right outside the site and ran every 20 mins and a 15 minute ride to York until late which gave us extra time to browse york without having to get a taxi back which we found very beneficial as we have a motorhome. Very well recommended if staying in York. Toby carvery is a short walk from the site. Wish we had found the site sooner. Didn't want to leave. Very well recommended see you again soon Thankyou

Great camp site with a very warm welcome and Honey the dog was adorable - good level fully serviced pitches, very clean toilets / showers in a well thought out configuration (horse shoe layout) showers were huge and in a large private room with sink and toilet, there was 8 shower rooms to choose from. Great bus stops right outside the main gates - York only 15 minutes away, we went to the Christmas market December 2025 bus ticket was £3 each way per person. A cafe / shop would be a great addition to the site. We will visit again if in the area £41 per night but they give you £3 credit per day for the electric meter. Good TV reception and WiFi data.

Are stay was 6 nights the site was nice and had a premium pitch which has a table and chairs plus fire pit £10 for bag of logs also meter electric pitch is about top price + electric, there is a fishing pond in the middle of the site. It's a strange setting for the toilet and showers, small men and ladies toilets the 8 large rooms with toilet shower and sink in them but all need updating and not sure if they were heated. On a positive bus stops right outside to go into York it's definitely not 5star
