Fantastic site, 5 caravan and campervan pitches, and also some for some tents in a separate section. There's no toilet and shower facilities but full electric hook up and water, plus free WiFi!!! Lots of wildlife around too. Dobbies Garden Centre and the park n ride is approx 300 yds away. The park & ride takes you straight into York centre and is £4 return for an adult. The is some great pubs a 15-20 minute walk away too - The White Horse in Upper Poppleton and The Knapton Lion in Knapton (fabulous food btw). The site is dog friendly and so are both of the pubs. There's an M&S a 10 min walk and the Dobbies also has a small Waitrose in, you literally don't need to get in your car at all!!
Lovely CL site, very little road noise. Great bus access via P&R to York. Adults only. No toilets, no showers. Black and grey waste (containers only). No grey drain for moho. Ehu and water at each pitch.
Basic, but peaceful and wonderfully kept. Adult only makes for a really relaxing atmosphere and I Love that it is so close to Poppleton with a train to York! Quiet in the week, but never loud even at weekends. There is a MacDonalds and m and s food very close. Nowhere particularly close to do laundry is the only issue long term!
Amazing find super tidy site, water and power at every parking point. Very friendly owners with helpful tips on offer on arriving. 5 mins walk to trains and a £5 ish return ticket for 2 adults into York. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys 😀
A lovely cl which is close to upper Poppleton. 2 minutes walk from the park and ride 10 minutes walk from the station to York. There is a lovely community forest 15 minutes walk away where you can walk for miles great for dogs too. A little bit road noise but mostly peaceful. We've already booked again.
