Very clean, okay decor, bed and pillows were okay too. It had a mini fridge and hair dryer. Be aware that the sign outside says Diamonds not Crossways.

Lovely helpful people. Bedroom small but functional (pay for what you get). Comfy and clean bed. Bathroom shower could have been a lot cleaner. Asked approx. Half hour after we arrived for shower to be cleaned at approx. 1400,shower didn't get cleaned until the next day, too late to have a shower. Temp. Parking tickets issues as expected, on street parking. Dining room very cramped (maximising spaces). Nice breakfast. 0.9miles from city centre, so convenient and number 6 bus into city centre right outside. Very steep Georgian stairs.

Stayed here last month for a few days. We had a decent stay. The hotel had recently changed hands and was soon to be renovated. The place was very dated in places and in need of a face-lift but can't fault the stay. Comfy room which was just big enough for myself and my friend, and the breakfast was left for us in a basket in our room which was nice.

hate to leave a FANTASTIC review because I would stay here again if ever get back to York. The ladies were great - checked us in quickly - took our breakfast order for the next morning. Room was 2nd floor - very quiet. Came down for breakfast and within minutes our food was brought in. After breakfast they asked if we wanted to make any changes for the next day. Homemade jams & marmalades. Not a really large place but more than adequate. Bus stop is at the end of their front walk.
