Newbridge Park

Description

Newbridge Park Group is 100% volunteer run, formally developing the existing facilities in the disused quarry and adjoining neglected woodland on Newbridge Road in Pickering. Locals will continue enjoying cycling and walking, and we are reintroducing native species as part of a long term woodland management plan.

We have a cycling skills area and cross country trail loop (think Dalby Forest bike trails) - designed to allow progression for beginners and advanced cyclists alike. In addition to the cycle trails we have consulted the local walking group with a view to improving footpaths and accessibility, installing seating and ensuring that the woods is a place for all to locals enjoy.
