Description
Selby Town Council purchased the Town Hall over 20 years ago. It is the office base for the Town Council, monthly meetings which are open to the public are held in Studio to the rear of the building. The Town Council have 12 staff, one of which is the Arts Officer whose responsibility it is to book the acts that perform in the Town Hall. There are two seasons of shows, January – June and September – December. People travel from all over the UK to attend the shows and the acts come from all over the world.
