The Crown

This 800 year old building used to be on the main route north in the days before cars. Set only 3 miles off the historic town of Richmond, the gate way to the dales. We serve traditional pub grub in a warm friendly atmosphere. Our menu features dishes such as Pies, Giant filled Yorkshire puddings, Mixed grill Paninis and much more. We serve a fablous aray of drinks from Real ale , Prosecco to coffee and tea, something for all requirements. We love to welcome motorhomes to stay over night, motorbike enthusiasts passing through, walkers on the Coast to Coast. Everyone is welcome. Situated in the beautiful village of Brompton-on-swale our little village features some stunning walks around the River Swale and surrounding areas. The Crown has a large beer garden which in the summer is perfect for watching the world go by. We love to welcome dogs to our pub, we have plenty of water bowls and treats behind the bar.
