<p><strong>Breakfast and afterschool club Practitioner</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: S11 7PQ Clifford All Saints Primary School </strong></p> <p><strong>Starting: ASAP</strong></p> <p><strong>You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check</strong></p> <p><strong>Working hours: 22.5 hours per week</strong></p> <p><strong>Monday - Friday 7:30am - 09:00am &amp; 3:00pm - 6:00pm</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p>We are looking for an organised childcare practitioner who can provide a range of play-based activities for children aged 3 to 11 years old in our breakfast and afterschool club.</p> <p><strong>Accountabilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensuring that the programme of activities delivered is interesting, valuable and appropriate to the children using the facilities by providing a variety of play and learning opportunities and identifying and accommodating changing needs.</li><li>Ensuring the safety and well-being of club users through checking equipment, undertaking first line child protection measures and organising activities appropriate to the users at any given time</li><li>Ensuring that parents, carers and other visitors are made to feel welcome on visiting the play facility and that they receive appropriate information and advice.</li><li>Maximising the learning value of the activities by planning and evaluating activities</li><li>Contributing through assisting if required, in the maintenance if agreed records including registers, contracts, doctors, accident books, financial transactions etc</li><li>Contribute in preparing and serving food when necessary</li><li>Ensuring all Health and safety regulations are adhered too</li><li>To be fully aware of all the club’s policies and procedures</li><li>Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out</li><li>To arrive to work at least 10 minutes before duties start</li></ul> <p>We offer an employer pension contribution scheme and a pro-rata annual leave entitlement of 28 days (full time) plus bank holidays, in addition to company incentives.</p> <p>As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding you will also be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and other suitability checks as part of our safer recruitment procedures.</p> <p>The Lime Trees is a family-first business, our aims are simple: we support the community and families in it to make sure we're contributing at all levels, while giving children a brilliant platform on which to build their education.</p>
