Artists in the Making

Description

Artists in the Making was set up with a vision to promote the creativity of children in Sheffield and the surrounding area through art and photography. The jam packed school curriculum today makes it difficult to create extended periods of time for art and creativity. Artists in the Making sessions allow children that time to really get their teeth into a project and explore their ideas. Artists in the Making is unique in that it is the only company in Sheffield running photography sessions for primary age children.
Artists in the making is now also working with adult mental health service users. Creativity is a very powerful tool that can enhance well- being and self- confidence. Get in touch to find out more.

The sessions are run in a variety of settings: in schools, at homes and in community buildings such as churches/ village halls.

The use of high tech digital cameras is free as is the use of all art equipment.
