I really like this shop, bought a few bits of furniture from there as well as regularly buying CDs and DVDs. There is a lovely lady with glasses who works in there who is really friendly and helpful and always has a chat with me. The prices are very reasonable too. Only drawback is one bloke who works in there is very miserable, never talks or smiles even if you do to him so he needs to polish up his customer service skills.
This is a fantastic shop, I've bought some fabulous quality household items from them at value for money prices. The staff are so pleasant and always happy to help. A great place to shop. The only bug bare is, there's no car park.
Visited the store 4 weeks ago, found some items there were not priced up. The kind colleague said they would need to wait for the manager to price them up and they would call me. I called in the next day spoke to the manager who promised to come back to me by the end of the week. Despite chasing weekly my business was not deemed to be a priority but posting on social media was. Lost a sale and a customer
i like castlford shop having gone there for years infact all my family have but to be told today i would have to pay £10 delivery charge even though i was going to give them a£545 sofa bed 4months old i think its a disgrace all the stuff is given any way so there in profit so really they lost money as they could have made a big profit off my sofabed it used to be free delivery if they were picking something up come on prince of wales lets get it right were the ones buying the stuff give us a bit of charity
Quite disappointed with this shop today,went in bought a sofa and chest of drawers,I asked if they would pick mine up,yes,they said providing it's fire labels and in good condition,I replied yes it is,when driver came he said he wouldn't take it because it's a patterned sofa,I foned the shop they told me it's because they already have to many sofas in the back already,I said so why lie just to sell you're goods and take my money,now I'm stuck with mine outside,the only reason I needed a new one was because mine was to low not that it sagged it was memory foam,I would donate to charity shops any day as I'm a cancer sufferer myself also have heart problems but this has got my back up been lied to,☹️☹️☹️☹️
