Extremely overpriced, just ok quality kids toys looking at around £8!
Good store large variety and good prices Friendly staff
Short blond haired manager extremely rude and unpleasant. Everything is overpriced and she said ‘everything good goes to eBay anyway’ so pointless going in really.
If I could rate 0 stars I would, avoid this place. Horrible staff interactions in here that I have witnessed several times myself including poor and disrespectful remarks by staff made to customers. An area manager priced and put out a fake pair of Doc Martens for £30. When I brought this up to a staff member, they laughed in my face. I do not see how somebody being out of pocket for a fake item is funny. I rang the store manager to inform them of this interaction, in which I was given 4 different excuses on why this had happened which just ended up with the person on the phone becoming argumentative and shouting at me. I have spent years supporting this store by both buying and donating to them, even when I thought the instore prices were steep. This will no longer be the case and I will make sure people are well aware of the way they think it is acceptable to treat their customers.
I volunteer here at this shop and I honestly love coming here. There’s just loads of spaces and a lot bigger than any other charity shops in Pontefract. I have made loads of friends since I’ve came to volunteer here last September and honestly it was the best decision I’ve ever made to volunteer here. Xx
