The concert, held on July 17, 2026, featured CMAT, whose real name is Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, performing a series of hits that captivated the sold-out crowd.

Return to The Piece Hall

This was a special moment for CMAT, as it marked her return to the historic venue where she previously supported Swedish duo First Aid Kit in 2022. The atmosphere was electric as she greeted her fans, saying, “Halifax baby, we are back at The Piece Hall… and this time we are the main event!” This enthusiastic welcome set the tone for an unforgettable night.

Hit Songs and Fan Favourites

During her two-hour set, CMAT performed popular tracks from her debut album If My Wife Knew I’d Be Dead, along with songs from her second album Crazymad, For Me, and the award-winning EURO-COUNTRY. The evening kicked off with the lively number Jamie Oliver Petrol Station, followed by fan favourites like When A Good Man Cries, Running/Planning, and Have Fun!.

One of the highlights of the concert was the mass sing-along to her viral hit Take A Sexy Picture Of Me, which had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing together. This moment perfectly showcased the unity and joy that music can bring to a crowd.

A Special Cover

As the night progressed, CMAT surprised the audience with a spine-tingling cover of Kate Bush’s iconic song Wuthering Heights, a piece inspired by Yorkshire itself. Following this, she performed Where Are Your Kids Tonight, leading up to an exciting three-song encore that included EURO-COUNTRY, I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!, and Stay For Something. In a thrilling finale, CMAT jumped into the crowd, transforming the audience area into a catwalk, which left everyone buzzing with excitement.
