Progressive rock giants Opeth recently took to the stage at the historic Piece Hall in Halifax, marking a significant moment as part of their UK exclusive performance. Fans flocked to venue in Halifax for an outstanding outdoor performance.

This event, part of the TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall series, showcased not only Opeth but also featured the beloved local band, Paradise Lost, who returned to their hometown for an electrifying performance on Yorkshire Day.

Opeth's Captivating Performance

As part of their acclaimed Last Will & Testament World Tour, Opeth played their only UK date in 2026 in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Their set lasted an impressive one hour and 45 minutes, beginning with the opener from their latest album, The Last Will & Testament. The band treated fans to a mix of their classic hits, including The Devil’s Orchard, Windowpane, and Hex Omega, before closing with the powerful track Deliverance.

Paradise Lost's Hometown Triumph

Joining Opeth on stage were the iconic Paradise Lost, celebrated for their pioneering role in the gothic metal genre. The band received a warm welcome from the crowd, making their performance particularly special given the significance of Yorkshire Day.
