Updated As I work away a lot we started to look at sofas in September to narrow down choice, found one we both liked explained to salesperson we were only looking and my wife would come back when sales were on as we we’re not in a rush. Was persuaded to put deposit down and if it went down before delivery we would get it at lower price. Imagine mine surprise to told by wife that sofa was ready and had gone down by £350.00 but SCS had changed their policy a couple of weeks before paying balance and they would not now honour the discount !!!. I am left feeling cheated and robbed and deceived. I would not recommend after Lynsey from media team saw review I am happy to say a mix up in store where a discount could’ve been made it has now been sorted. And we are very happy with sofa.

Update 11/06/2026 I've update more pictures of the sofa that broke after 39 days from being delivered... the one where I was literally 9 days to late to get a replacement. So I called the lovely people at the old SCS and although it says the sofa has a 20 year warranty - which is flagged on their website as usual they are not being transparent as that doesn't apply when your sofa is 3 years old - I've just had to pay £75 to get someone out to replace the faulty sofa they sent out to me - that they wouldn't swap for new - to get the same repair done - broken frame!!! The CS person then apologised and said if there was more she could do she would and whilst its not her fault they do not listen and neither do they try their best to help.. poor poor poor from start to finish and I do in all honestly suggest you go any where else but here for your furniture...... Oh and I had to pay £75 before they have even sorted a day for the repair to be done I now have to trust them to do it in a reasonable amount of time... lets see what happens next!!!!!! I would honestly give them zero stars if that was an option.. Update 08/08/23 Finally I have a date for the repair.... after several emails and calls chasing this... so on the 25th August my sofa's frame is being repaired!!! Its taken me all this time and effort to get SCS to authorise the repair... Please if I could recommend one thing to you avoid this store if you can, I've heard Sofology, DFDS and Barker and Stonehouse are good and I truly wish Id walked passed it and bought somewhere else... who wants a 39 day sofa repairing should have been a replacement and no qiestions asked!! Updated again Had a rather awful email stating I could only have a repair as I was 9 days out of the 30 day rule. I'm not happy and have to accept but please think before you buy from this store as they have shoddy after care and once your furniture leaves the building you may as well forget any customer service. That's my final update over but SCS what a bunch of cowboys!!! Walk past the shop and keep walking I've never dealt with a company like them!!! Truly disgusting!!!!!!!!! Update on my Sofa!!! As I've had my sofa for 39 days not 30 days I have to accept repair!! SCS only give you a new replacement if you have had your sofa for 30 days or less. However clearly the sofa was delivered with a fault, only 2 people had sat on the sofa - I live alone and use the two seater. I am clearly not happy... why would I want a whole frame repairing this early on in a sofas life? Who actually would want that and if its broken once what confidence will I have moving forward? This is on gong as I wont settle for a repair but beware that after care is not SCS forte in fact at this stage I'm really not sure what is to be honest, but I will keep this post updated and if by chance they do the right thing I will post and say that, but lets see as I am now waiting for a call from another Manager watch this space! I say again buyer beware! Poor poor poor!! Sofa collapsed at the front after 5 weeks of being delivered, contacting customer services was a nightmare took me two days and the manager at the Hull store completely ignored my emails. I am waiting now - having spoken to customer service to see how the process goes from here as communication, customer service and professionalism has been very poor up until now! I did a review for them and funnily enough it was rejected and it was along the lines I'm writing now so please be aware that any reviews they have on show aren't a true reflection of the service that you get.

Despite our niche requirements and being challenging customers, they showed incredible patience and spent hours finding the perfect fit. Their expertise, attention to detail, and the reasonable pricing made the experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone with a specific vision for interior design!

We went into ScS Hull. We were greeted by Alan who was very pleasant. No pushy sales but very helpful. We eventually purchased a new suite from him. Highly recommend him. Thank you Alan.👍

Bought 2 sofas from here in February. I liked it as there wS absolutely no pressure to buy, the salesman answered all my questions and I was happy to purchase. Hot refreshments were kindly offered and it was a very pleasant visit. I can highly recommend and will definitely return when we need carpets later in the year. Great shop, pleasant experience.
