New Facilities
The Brontë Parsonage Museum has recently made improvements to enhance the visitor experience. New accessible toilet facilities have been introduced, aiming to ensure that everyone feels comfortable during their visit. The museum is keen to gather feedback on these changes and how they impact the experience of visitors, families and carers.
Enjoy a Complete Brontë Day Out
Visitors can now make the most of a full Brontë-inspired day out thanks to a new reciprocal offer between the Brontë Parsonage Museum and Brontë Birthplace in Thornton. Those visiting the Parsonage Museum can enjoy discounted entry to the Brontë Birthplace, while visitors who have recently explored the Birthplace can receive 20% off a standard admission ticket to the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
To redeem the offer, simply present a valid ticket from the other attraction. The discount is valid for three months from the date of ticket purchase, making it easy to explore both significant Brontë locations during the summer.
Celebrating Literature
This year marks the National Year of Reading 2026, a campaign aimed at encouraging more people to rediscover the joy of reading. As a literary museum, the Brontë Parsonage is all about celebrating books and stories. Visitors can download book bingo sheets from the museum's website, which provide fun reading challenges and suggestions on what to read next.
Additionally, fans of the Brontë sisters can tune into the latest episode of Behind The Glass: A Parsonage Podcast.
