This festive season, a magical transformation is set to take place at the historic East Riddlesden Hall, where audiences will be invited to experience Cinderella: An Immersive Pantomime Experience. This exciting new production, created by Electric Press Productions, will run from Friday, 4th December to Wednesday, 23rd December 2026. Set within the stunning 17th-century house and its grounds, this pantomime promises to be a delightful adventure for families and fairytale enthusiasts alike.
Cast Announced
The cast of Cinderella: An Immersive Pantomime Experience has recently been revealed, and it features a talented group of performers ready to bring the beloved story to life. Meg Kent, known for her roles in Look To The Light on Amazon Prime and Our House at the Bridewell Theatre, will portray Cinderella. Joining her is Elle Vosque, a celebrated Irish drag performer and runner-up on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 7, who will take on the role of Peggy, the fairy godmother.
Other notable cast members include:
JJ Broadbent as Prince Max, making his professional debut.
Sophie Hygate as Paige and Kemi Stewart as Kitty, both making their professional debuts as Cinderella's stepsisters.
Nigel Fyfe, known for his work in Shadowlands and Love’s Labour’s Lost, will play the King.
Jonny Mills as Dandini, Prince Max's witty sidekick.
Laura Judge, who will portray the wicked stepmother Bev.
Aimee Sanderson-Bates and Joshua George will also make their professional debuts as Swings, while Hannah Day will join the Ensemble.

A Fresh Take on a Classic Tale
This version of Cinderella reimagines the classic fairytale with a modern twist. Instead of the traditional ending, where Cinderella marries the prince, this production invites audiences to explore themes of self-expression and independence. Cinderella, played by Meg Kent, dreams of a life beyond her stepfamily and finds her voice through song. When Prince Max hears her sing at the village Yuletide Fayre, he is enchanted and announces a grand ball to find her.
However, as midnight approaches, Cinderella chooses to break away from the expected narrative, challenging the norms of royal duty in favour of music, adventure, and personal freedom. This bold reimagining aims to inspire audiences to define happiness on their own terms.
