The boneless chicken is tasty, but nothing to write home about. I was pleasantly surprised however at just how spicy the ghost pepper version is; usually fast food joints’ ‘spicy’ menu options are rather lacklustre - this however really did set your mouth on fire. It is worth noting that the ghost pepper flavour is achieved by seasoning powder, not a different kind of batter. If you get too little, or too much powder - the spice will either be underwhelming or overpowering. I was disappointed to find the drinks machine wasn’t working too well, my first choice (dr pepper) was completely depleted; and the coca cola I opted for as a backup - was weak and diluted. My partner is veggie, and the options for her were very underwhelming (not surprised - it’s a fried chicken shop), however most places nowadays usually offer decent plant based, or vegetable menu items. Interior design was nice, staff were friendly, and the overall vibe of the restaurant is cool. Not sure if I’d return but it was an okay experience as a one off.

The food was served completely cold. I requested it to be changed, but unfortunately, the replacement was still not hot. This is especially surprising as, in my previous visits, the food has always been good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Additionally, there was no apology or acknowledgment from the staff regarding the issue, which made the situation worse. I also noticed that the Coke tasted off, as if the syrup had run out it mostly tasted like soda water. Overall, this experience did not meet the usual standards. Won’t going back again.

I visited this location a few months ago and got food poisoning. I’ve been waiting to leave a review as I had to contact Popeyes and have been waiting for a sufficient response but they never got back to me so a review it will have to be. I visited in April, ordered chicken burger with wings. It took them over 40 minutes to serve the food, and then when it arrived I got about a third of the way into the burger before I realised it was slightly pink inside. This was after eating one of the chicken wings and thinking the texture was a bit off only to pull apart another one and see it was extremely pink. I had to throw most of the food away. I would have complained but the staff were useless and it was busy so I left. I was unwell for 4 days after this. I think it’s despicable that Popeyes clearly don’t care about the health of their customers.

I have been to this joint multiple times since it opened in April and hits the mark every time, first time we went was a week after opening so went upstairs where there was still seating as the Popeye's is large as it should be! Staff provided solid service for a new opening and drinks refillable machine is ready to use as we did before waiting for food upstairs, Louisiana imagery with the lighting adds a nice touch itself. Spicy Chicken Wrap and Cajun Fries were super tasty and biscuit was a superb combo with a honey dip, leather seating is comfortable too!

Very yummy fried chicken! Food came very quick as well and the Service, especially by Nidhi, was great! She gave us an extra bag to take our leftover chicken home and was super kind and friendly :)
