Welcome to Yorkshire
News • July 8th, 2026
|Last Thursday, Leeds buzzed with energy as cyclists came together for the much-anticipated Rampage event, a unique challenge that raised vital funds for children across Yorkshire. Hosted in the heart of the city at the iconic Victoria Leeds multi-storey car park, the event brought together riders of all ages and abilities, all keen to support those who face hardships such as illness, disability, or financial difficulties.
Exciting Challenge
The Rampage challenge involved cyclists tackling a series of climbs and descents throughout the evening, pushing their limits in a vibrant atmosphere filled with cheers and encouragement from supporters. The event not only showcased the determination of the participants but also highlighted the strong sense of community in Leeds.
As riders competed for top spots, they also contributed to a significant cause. The funds raised from this event will go to the Yorkshire Children's Charity, which has been making a difference since its launch in 2022. The charity has already raised over £10.8 million and provided support to more than 73,500 children and young people in the region.
Fundraising Impact
Charlotte Farrington, the Founder and CEO of Yorkshire Children's Charity, expressed her gratitude for the event's success.
"Rampage has quickly become one of our most exciting fundraising events, and this year's challenge was no exception.
Seeing riders of all abilities take on such a unique course, supported by an incredible crowd in the heart of Leeds, was truly inspiring."
She highlighted that while competition was fierce, the true winners were the children who would benefit from the funds raised.
The funds gathered through Rampage will continue to provide practical support for children and families facing difficulties across Yorkshire. This includes everything from financial assistance to access to essential services, ensuring that these young individuals have the opportunities they deserve.

Participants not only enjoyed the challenge, but many also celebrated their achievements on the podium. The results from the evening are as follows:
