Olicana Park

We just loved this place. We went in October the autumn colours were stunning. We stayed in the Bears Den, it was my husbands birthday. The lodge was immaculate, we used the sauna and jacuzzi each day. The welcome pack was way more than we expected and the location is gorgeous, we loved Addingham so much. Hamiltons cafe was lovely and the fleece pub was fantastic, We enjoyed walking into Ilkley and intend to return to Olicana Park very soon. If you are coming up north get to Addingham before you key in the postcode as our Sat nav directs you to a field 10 miles away

Our annual winter stay in Bears Den is one of the highlights of our year and the most perfect festive break! The lodge is absolutely stunning and decorated beautifully for Christmas. They’ve thought of everything you could want for a luxury stay with delicious treats (for you and your dog!) on arrival and Hamiltons (the onsite cafe) is lovely, with fantastic service - the man that served us was wonderful with our little boy. The lodge is dog friendly and there are fantastic walks right on your doorstep. We cannot wait to come again next year…and the year after that…

Had a lovely weekend with my husband at Olicana Park. We stayed in the Kingfisher cottage, beautiful! Just the right size, great kitchen and bathroom, with everything you would need. The park itself is in a great area for walking but also not too far away for a visit to some Yorkshire faithful’s like Skipton, York or even Leeds.We will certainly be revisiting Olicana Park.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Apres Ski Lodge – the setting is absolutely amazing. It’s a luxury cabin with a hot tub and sauna, and the river location is beautiful, both for spotting wildlife and for swimming. There are lots of thoughtful extra touches, which we really appreciated. That said, the lodge would benefit from some maintenance. A few hinges in the kitchen and bathroom were either broken or in need of fixing. The plastic drinkware was badly scratched, with one broken, and really needs replacing. The level of cleanliness also wasn’t quite what we expected. Unfortunately, the most disappointing part of our stay was the interaction with a female staff member on our last day. Our youngest had an accident during the night, and despite wearing a nappy and having two mattress protectors (provided by the lodge), the mattress still got wet. We first mentioned this to the gentleman looking after the hot tubs, and he was kind, understanding, and very reassuring. However, when the female staff member arrived, she was extremely rude, which left us feeling uncomfortable and upset. She certainly did not handle the situation in a professional manner. It was a real shame to end what had otherwise been a wonderful holiday on such a sour note.

We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The Lodge was perfect, very well equipped, clean and with lots of space. The welcome pack was a nice touch and having basics such as tea and coffee etc. We loved being able to relax in the sauna and spa pool. The location is great, and Ilkely and Skipton are both only a short drive. Staff were very welcoming, including those at and breakfast at Hamiltons who do a great breakfast.
