Allerton Park

So quiet and everyone on site really freindly. Bewarned there is no pub, games room and nearest shop is ten minutes away. But if you want quiet in lovely location. Great as local base for exploring. We had wheelchair adapted caravan and the dogs loved the big field to romp in.

Lovely, peaceful park. The lodges are first class. Everything you could need in a home from home. They provide tea, coffee, milk sachets, biscuits and sugar for when you arrive. 2 toilet rolls in each bathroom. Some hand wash too. I normally clean caravans/lodges on arrival, but it's not necessary here.

What can I say about this place which hasn't been said before, beautiful part of the world, we were influenced by the film A very British Christmas which was filmed here and in Knaresborough, we think the lodge we stayed in was the one in the film

Terrible booking experience meant we chose not to go. It's managed by Hoseasons and a friend reported a terrible experience with a manager there. On this occasion it advertised availability for the selected dates then booked us for entirely different dates! This caused considerable distress and difficulty cancelling as we had made specific commitments that couldn't be changed. Booked elsewhere and won't touch Hoseasons as booking agents ever again.

Great park. Lovely staff. Lodge was perfect. Spacious clean and well equipped . Will definitely be back
