Massive money making scheme and when you refuse their sky high prices they call the rspca on you. My family was quoted over £2000 for an emergency operation my dog needed. We are so glad we got a second opinion as we managed to have this done for £600 at a private clinic who was so welcoming. They told us that she needed injections which would have been £500. When speaking to the private clinic we attended with our dog, she didn’t even need these injections. She had the operation and is now in full recovery.
The vets here are always competent, friendly and gentle with my cats. There does seem to be a 'medication sales patter' if they can find a way to approach it, but it is a business after all. Prices, I would say are always increasing, I paid £106 last year for 2 cat boosters and yesterday it was £116 for the same 5 minutes, 10% is a big rise.
Would love to recommend the puppy socialising class with Lisa and Charlotte i got lots of information and great ideas on puppy behaviour. Lisa's knowledge is fantastic and my puppy Toby loved going and playing with the other puppies . Thankyou ladies
I found all staff friendly, helpful, caring and professional. This was my first visit with my elderly dog and wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleased with the whole experience.
Moved my dogs away from here even though this is on my door step. Ultimately down to the lack of compassion for my dogs and their breeds knowledge is lacking and my dog has suffered at the hands of this practice. Receptionists are lovely though but not prepared to stick around for convenience as the actual vets do not have best interests at heart just ££££.
