Very bad. When u buy a game that's expensive and u finish that game therefore u would like to exchange it but they only give u half the amount u can exchange it for. For example u buy a game thats worth £30 u can only have £15 back for a new game that u want to exchange for. Ridiculous!. This means they take half the money u originally bought the expensive game for. 💀💀

I always forget to review places. So here it is whilst I remember! CeX is genuinely one of the best.. if not the best places I go to *regularly* for my physical media/gaming needs. I've been going many times for years that I genuinely adore it here. It usually 9 times out of 10 has exactly what I need and in such spectacular condition too. And everything in this store is clearly well looked after and cared for. It's always nice to just go and look at stuff. And the staff? Don't even get me started. They're genuinely some of the most greatest, funniest, friendliest, wholesomest people I've ever had the pleasure of talking to in a shop. Everytime I go in I always feel like I'm welcomed warmly and it always makes me happy. I know you hear about the CeX 'stereotypes' but the people here are not that. They're some of the best people you'll ever meet with some of the most kindest hearts you'll have ever seen. I love going to this place. And I hope it won't die like Game did around the corner lmao.

Really poor customer service. Went to trade my PS5 in today and felt I was scammed to be honest. Price given was not reflected by price shown on website and the console was in really excellent condition. No eye contact from staff, no warmth, unfriendly, no customer skills whatsoever. It was almost like it was a chore for them to deal with me. Id just been swimming so was wearing tracksuit, they must have thought I was some scum off the street with way they dealt with me, talking about me to each other whilst I was stood there. I've worked customer facing for some of the biggest brands in the world, I've not always been perfect myself, but these people just weren't bothered at all. So, so poor.

Wow ! Cex Barnsley you certainly helped me today with my camera issue , never thiught I would be able to get exactly the camera I wanted. I bought a camera on Tuesday tried it out at home , wasn’t happy so I took it back 2 days later and one male staff did so very much to get me the right camera. I am so grateful to you pal ( didnt get his name) thanks , very much appreciated. Mr Heath

I was in that store last Sunday, it's really bad smell in this shop , look like staff is not getting shower or bath for long time. Never again !
