The Range, Birstall

Was slightly disappointed. They didn't have the items what I went for. Although they did have an Iceland store. Certain frozen items were reduced, however when I reached the checkout they couldn't be reduced due to being on offer 2 for £8.00. The checkout staff did their best to help me but they couldn't override the Iceland prices.

Big store. Has pretty much every isle you could think of. Home stuff. Pets. Food. Sweets and snacks. Has an upstairs with a small cafe. No toilets. Can be long queues to pay.

Would just like to say a massive thank you to the lady on customer services ,( didn’t get her name but had been working from 10.30 .)I had mislaid my keys - thought I may have lost them in the car park. I rung up she asked her colleagues before going out and looking in the car park for me. Going above and beyond excellent customer service - give her a wage rise !😉

Huge store with lots of products, so you’ll likely find what you need. However, staff could use better training. I asked a brief question about where Click & Collect is, as there are no signs or clear directions. I was told the member of management was “dealing with other customers,” but I watched her approaching another customer at that exact moment. The response felt dismissive and unnecessary, especially for such a simple question. While the store has a great range, the poor customer service was disappointing. Going by the reviews, many others seem to have encountered similar issues with staff at this store.

There is a wide range of items, over two floors, including homeware and arts & crafts supplies. The staff were very helpful in finding a particular item. There was a long queue at the tills (which always seems to be the case in every branch of The Range). There is also a branch of Iceland in-store, and a café (with toilets).
