I walk past this cemetery quite often. Always admire the look of the place. Cemeteries are never a place I like to visit, but this one was something worth looking at. It looks peaceful. I guess for a cemetery, that's a good thing. Often very busy, and some would say clustered, but still very pleasant. Today, I walked by and saw a man cleaning a grave. I assumed it was a loved ones resting place. Admirable. Can u imagine if everyone who has a loved one there did the same thing?

Was easy parking for the car that smashed into a tree. That innocent people perished

Drove past at the weekend, I have never seen a cemetery so full of beautiful flowers and lots of visitors amongst them. Presumably partly due to large numbers who have died recently from covid. The memories of loved people blooming wonderfully for all to see.... Uplifting during these difficult times.

It's peaceful and quiet, except the public use it as a cut through road, especially taxi's, otherwise we'll maintained, Chapel is small, but there is a larger waiting area for overflow, which has TV screens (with sound) showing the service.

My darling Mouse, my life and soul, died in May of this year and she was cremated at Scholemoor Crematorium. I was 3 hours too early and sat alone with my thoughts, tears and inner screams in the Jewish part of this cemetery. Listening to the gentle drops of the rain on the grand trees, watching the birds wing from branch to branch. The peace of the cemetery is something to behold and the earth is now a drop salty from my tears. An oasis of peace and stillness in a noise city
