The library is advertised as opening at 08:00, but it wasn’t open even after I waited until 08:15. I walked there in the rain only to find the doors locked from both the main entrance and Student Central. I even saw a librarian inside at 07:45, yet students were still left outside. Completely unacceptable and very frustrating.
It has a calm space and a silent study area. A great place to study.
Serene, Authentic and quite majestic... you'll get your work done. As a student of Bradford Ofcourse
Good library. Good variety of books. Need more books and journals accessible online though. Chairs are comfy but not great for your back which is annoying. In the quiet areas people aren't quiet but library staff come round and shush them sharpish which is useful when you're working. There are more desks for charging laptops now than there used to be which is really helpful 🤩 and lots of elbow room!
The JB Priestley Library is a very efficient library and the staff are always very helpful
