Absolutely awful experience. One of the worst indoor play areas we’ve ever been to. The manager or whatever she is, was just incredibly rude and aggressive. We were rushed out (still 10 mins left to closing time) even though we had a disabled person with us that was struggling to get up which was quite clear — zero patience or understanding. Kids take time to put their coats and shoes on, it’s common sense, but apparently not here lol. Instead of basic courtesy, she came charging towards us after staring us down from the counter across the place for about 10 minutes like we’d done something wrong. The place was freezing, which is ridiculous for a children’s play centre. On top of that, the kitchen was closed TWO HOURS early, despite every “session” being 2 hours long. What’s the point of advertising food if you shut it halfway through people’s slots? To top it all off, they confiscated our water that we brought with us — again, no kindness, no explanation, just rude behaviour. This place has no regard for families, kids, or disabled visitors. Save your money and your sanity and go literally anywhere else. Would not recommend to anyone.
Absolute joke of a place, was freezing, staff were rude and the kitchen was closed 2 hours before closing which makes absolutely no sense. The place was closing and the manager who has no manners whatsoever rushed us out at 5:50 and then shouted at us because my disabled sister was struggling. She also made another family wait outside the place for their taxi which is so inconsiderate as it was raining, why are you making children and a mother wait outside in the rain? At least have the consideration of letting them wait in the waiting area. On top of all that for how small the place is their prices are ridiculous.
I have visited Megaplay several times now, and unfortunately the temperature inside has consistently been very cold. This is not a one-off experience — every time I have attended, the environment has been uncomfortably cold, which is especially concerning given that this is a children’s play area and should be warm and suitable for young children. I have raised this issue previously and spoken to staff on more than one occasion, however it does not appear that any action has been taken. While the facilities themselves are good, the temperature seriously affects the overall experience. I hope management take this feedback seriously and address the heating, as it would make a significant difference for both children and parents
Walked into the under 4s area and stepped in a big puddle straight away from where the ceiling was leaking. Staff wiped the puddle but I was left with a drenched sock which I had to remove as result and couldn’t enter the area after this. The play areas are tidy but floor and toys visibly look dirty and the whole place is just off putting. It’s also really cold so had to keep coats on, I was literally able to see my breath that’s how cold it is. Quite pricey for a soft play given the poor standards which I wasn’t aware of upon entry. Not somewhere I’d go again.
They charge £7.99 for 12 months kids. Better to avoid. £5 minimum spend on card. There are many other play areas which is much better than megaplay Bradford. Definitely I will not brings my kids again. Update: just wanted to reply to your response. Well not all the people have blue light card and even with blue light card the price was not reasonable which was £7.19 for 12 months baby. I just wanted to clarify to the people who are planning to visit Megaplay Bradford.
