1st time visit to see the band Silence, didn't eat any grub so can't comment, service at the bar was fairly quick but it was a very busy night. The atmosphere was great with the band playing outside. The pub has made really good use of the outside area. More than happy to go back again, but it is quite a distance from where I live.
Great pub all round. Clean friendly good selection of beers. Good people give it a go you can’t go wrong.everyone is made to feel welcome
Beautiful traditional pub .was there to see a local band will be back the craft ale was spot on ..
First time in years and landlord an absolute diamond, accepted me and my dog (a recent rescue with trust issues) in without question and brought water snd treats. Everyone so good with him done him world of good and best night out for me in years. Especially since i dont normally drink lol. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to be treated like a regular on first going Thank u Everyone particularly Cecil is it. Top landlord
A Real Ale paradise. I've been visiting the 'Dolly for decades and never been disappointed by the beer... or cider! There's a chalkboard for the ciders too. I always feel welcome. There's always a fire. 😊 If you want cocktails and a disco ball go somewhere else.
