I had an amazing time at Coffee28 on Saturday 11th October! I was fortunate enough to host my heartfelt event for mamas at this venue. The food, service and welcoming staff delivered beyond my expectations! The food and drinks ordered by me and my guests came in a timely manner and all the staff were super helpful with arranging the space I used so that it was comfortable for the mamas, babies and children that were going to be in attendance. I would strongly recommend this venue for a coffee date or even for hire for an event you would like to host, if you need outstanding facilities, an adaptable space and tasty food and beverages provided for your guests. Thank you to Coffee28, Yaz and staff! I will definitely be back :)

Just visited Coffee 28 — and wow, what a gem! 🌟 I’d never tried Matcha before, so I decided to break that today and gave the Matcha Strawberry Cheesecake a go, and it was incredible! They also serve hot paninis, toasties, and a great selection of meat wraps with fresh salad bowls, so there’s something for every craving. Their coffee range is fantastic — from rich hot coffees to refreshing iced drinks, perfect for all taste buds. Students with valid ID and Bluelight/NHS key workers even get 10% off, which is such a thoughtful touch. 👏 The atmosphere is warm, lively, and genuinely welcoming. The place is spotless, very organised, disability-friendly, and the staff are honestly some of the nicest around. It can get busy, but that’s only because it’s that good — ideal if you’re nearby, working in the office, or just want a quality drink on the go. Prices are really reasonable, and you can feel the heart of an independent business in every detail. A perfect spot for anyone who loves supporting local cafés. ☕️💚 Highly recommended: Coffee 28 is a must-visit!

I have been here a couple of times and have found the taste of the menu items quite nice, mostly the strawberry kunafa cup. However I believe that there is an element of inconsistency with the cup dessert as the chocolate to kunafa ratio is very well proportioned for the first 25% of the cup but the kunafa dominates the chocolate whilst travelling down the cup. As it is a strawberry kunafa chocolate cup, there should be a balance between the 3, whilst remaining consistent. All in all it is satisfied my taste buds however my diminishing marginal utility significantly decreased after the first quarter of the cup. 👍🏽

I not long ago stopped by this charming street café today and had one of the best coffees I’ve enjoyed in a while. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for taking a break in town. The staff member (Ash) was friendly, engaging and attentive. And, the coffee itself was rich, smooth, and beautifully presented. A lovely spot I’ll definitely be returning to. Holler.

I stopped by this cosy little coffee shop the other day. I had one of their big 5 smoothie. Personally, it was not my favourite smoothie, but it was OK. Their smoothie had too much ice in it, and it was not creamy at all. It was more like a slushy than a smoothie to me. The tuna panini was good, though 😋. Besides the food, the place was very nice and the staff was pleasant. Toilets are upstairs and nearest place to parking at the Leisure Exchange or Bradway.
