Went to this place for the first time in Nov 2022. Very small takeaway. It’s busy thanks to Uber deliveries. Positives.. burgers were nice. Negatives.. pizza had too much cheese on and base was slightly undercooked. Toilet lock did not work.
Chunkys, Bradford: This has to be one of the most underrated places I have been to. Thank you to Bilal who gave us the opportunity to review. We tried the Chunkys Special pizza, Hot shot Parmesan, Ranch and Peri Burger and the Atomic Wings with Steak/Crinkle cut chips and the regular fries, and to top it off we had the Churros. The Hot Shot Parmesan was on par with some of the top places in Bradford, it melted in the mouth and the cabbage mash was delicious. The ranch burger had a very unique taste and the sauces were perfect, not over powering at all. The pizza was quality, with the freshest ingredients. The pizza we got was a 9 inch stuffed crust, and the base was a little weak but we will try the 12 inch next time. Overall an amazing experience and highly recommended, the staff were great, Habeel was very courteous. What I learnt from this experience is, don’t judge a book by the cover, I drive past all the time but I’m glad I finally went in and tried a variety of their speciality dishes. Horrible experience. Ordered the ferrero waffle and it looked and tasted under cooked and full of dough . Presentation of the waffle was not appetizing to begin with . Ordered peri fries and clearly the seasoning was missed as they look like regular fries that I ordered with chicken . The lemon and herb sauce was very sweet . Very little of the sauce was on the dish . Chicken was horrible and dry . Very very very dissatisfied and will not be ordering from here again.
Always loved their food, not been for a while so thought I'd pop in and once again, was not disappointed at all!! Beautiful Chunky's special pizza and the peri peri burger too, love it! 👌🏼🙌🏼
Is tastes old, very spicy this food is definitely not fresh. I called the restaurant to say my food specially the donner came very spicy ( which doesn’t specify it on the menu) and they said I should know it was spicy. avoid this place—- AVOID THIS PLACE
