Great location and easy parking outside. Clean tables and chairs. Great service and friendly staff. Ice cream was fine and the cookie dough went down a treat. Just the waffle seemed dry and not fresh. But other then that, would have been 5 stars.
I was really disappointed with my experience at Marco Polo . Our cookie dough order never arrived, and when I contacted the store, instead of helping, the staff blamed Uber for the issue and were quite rude about it. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of accountability and poor attitude made it much worse. I was looking forward to trying their new cookie dough range , but after this experience, I won’t be ordering again. I hope they work on improving their customer service and communication.
Very disappointing experience at Marco Polo Desserts on Oak Lane. The employee was on his personal phone not concerned with customer service at all. He handled coins and touched food without washing his hands, and wasn’t wearing any hair covering either, very unhygenic and unsanitary. He was also rude to another customer. Overall, the service felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I won’t be returning.
There were two workers at the shop. One of them was very rude and gave me some of the worst customer service l've ever experienced in my 33 years of life. I asked him how long it would take for one ice cream and waffles, and he said 10 minutes — but it ended up taking 30. This guy also needs to learn some manners, especially toward his elders. I'm not just talking about myself; I'm talking about my mum. He kept giving her dirty looks for no reason. Marco Polo, fix your staff! The person who was rude was named Esad. I'm not 100% sure if that's his name — I only heard it because there was one guy and one girl working. I also checked the other reviews, and people seem to have the same issue, so it must be him.
Very pleasant experience the staff recommendations were really good. The desserts tasted fresh and they gave good portions aswell. Highly recommended this place
