We have eaten in many places in and around Bradford and if I was to base the review purely on food, this restaurant wins it hands down. Amazing tasting and you can see freshly prepared food. This is not a volume based chain where food is simply warmed up and served but instead, it feels, tastes and looks like it is freshly prepared for you. Understandably this can take a little time for the order to arrive but honestly the very best food I have eaten at a restaurant. The decor needs attention with signs of use and marks around. That said I have been to many places where the decor is pristine but the food is average. Based purely on food quality - top marks ! The atmosphere feels very calm and private with good lighting. Next time we come to Bradford for a meal - it will be here no question.
"EID 2023" - 2130 hours to 22.50 hours. FIRSTLY, thank you eastZeast Restaurant for being open on EID day. Our reservation was telephonically booked 2 hours in advance; waiting time was between 10 - 15 mins. Customer service: Overall, it was unwelcoming; no kindness, no courtesy or smile; lack of coordination; lack of supervision; lack of waiters. One of our waiter was kind and humble, but others brought wrong drink; nearly smashed my plate on the table; never served us mango chutney but we were charged for it. Management need to polish their leadership skills and retrain their staff for effective customer service. ORDER: For prawns briyani, mix grilled platter, strawberry daquiri and diet coke - Bill was £39.90 for 2 people. Waiting time for our food was appx 25 to 30 mins. Food: on a scale of 10, i would rate the food I had eaten as 4.5/10. I had ordered prawns briyani, but found 2 slices of eggs inside my briyani - and the combination of egg and prawns trigger allergic reaction on my skin. I had to discard the eggs. As a briyani fanatic (hydrebadi/Sindhi/dum briyani) , and for £15 i felt the portion was less. For £8/£9 Shimlas and my lahore give bigger portion. Atnosphere: The decore is eye-catching Ambience is good. But, few families who were sat behind us were burping aloud, making farting sound and swearing at each other. And, that was disgusting and impolite. Maybe a polite notice to everyone to respect other guest's privacy could be an option. A lot can be done to improve this restaurant. I AM NOT SURE IF I WILL REVISIT THIS PLACE but, as we are all different, you could give this place one chance and experience the positive and negative traits of this restaurant by yourself. ☺️ Thank you for your services eastZeast Restaurant. With the right management, employees, food, customer service and procedures, you could be the best.
Food was nice, the chicken dish came chopped up and not like a typical curry you would get, plenty of menu options. Plenty of seating I suggest for warm days you sit inside as we were seated on the side area which was very warm. Decor is lovely and friendly staff, did ask to get food packed at the end but waiter packed it funny so it caused a mess and all the oil got every where so we had to throw it away which is unfortunate. Over all staff were nice and food was good.
The head waiter Abdul was fantastic, the starters were good but not amazing, the mains the lamb was ok but the butter chicken avoid at all costs!!! (one bite I felt sick). They went to a traditional / modern contemporary look for the restaurant is was good. I wouldn't go again.
The chicken stir-fry was packed with flavor! The chicken was tender and juicy, and the vegetables were cooked just right, adding a nice crunch. The sauce had the perfect balance of savory and spicy, giving the dish a delicious kick. As for the egg fried rice, it was absolutely scrumptious! The rice was fluffy and had a nice hint of smokiness from being stir-fried. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and mixed in, adding a creamy texture to the rice. Overall, the medium spicy chicken stir-fry and egg fried rice combo was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. I would definitely recommend trying it if you're a fan of Asian cuisine! 9.2/10
