Ordered from here many times and for me the Singapore style ChowMein with pork is the best dish here and worth getting. I’ve had some great fritters and ribs but some of the food needs work imo. The Kung Pao was far too sweet, and the beef dishes (Black Pepper/Bean Sauce) were inconsistent with chewy meat. The Salt & Pepper fries tasted great but lacked that authentic stir-fry style, and the soup was really disappointing.
Ordered from Golden Dragon twice now. I got the Mixed Singapore style chow mein and really enjoyed it. Chicken, pork and beef were very tasty and tender, but my favourite is pork. Pork dumplings are very nice. I also got the chicken and mushroom soup, which I don't recommend- it was more like a starch thickened sauce than a soup.
Worst Chinese i have ever had, really bland, salt and pepper chips nearly broke my teeth as burnt, hardly no meat in the special fried rice, and as for chicken in ok sauce it looked like packet cooked chicken in a pinky nasty sauce, don't waste your money on food here, it's absolutely abysmal.
Used to be absolutely lovely when the lady was there , order regularly but its just not great at all anymore , very disappointing , definitly be looking for another place
I was passing and decided to try this takeaway. The place is far from presenting luxury but serviceable. I ordered spring rolls and chicken fried rice. The spring rolls were obviously cheap store bought ones likely cooked from frozen but tasty enough The fried rice was supplied in a cardboard carton (snaps for recyclability) but were a little over greasy. The chicken was tasty. For a quick bite it was good enough
