I would definitely say this is a hidden gem in Bradford. I've always enjoyed eating South Indian cuisine, and this place hit the spot. We got a variety of food. Chilli panner, butter chicken, chicken 65, lots of paratha, Beef biriyani, mango lassi. And you can't forget the dosa. Staff were very friendly and even the chef came out to greet us when my daughter requested a heart shaped paratha!!! The decor is very aesthetically pleasing. Will defo return for a lunch visit and try their more snacky foods.
Great food quality, diverse and exciting menu choices, and a different feel from your typical Indian restaurant. Definitely a must-try for a Kerala/Indo-Arabic culinary adventure!
We had just visited Cartwright Hall and wanted a quick lunch. Bradford is overflowing with curry houses and we chose. Rahman for convenience even though it didn’t look the most luxurious place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised with biryani chicken which was delicious. The waitress was friendly. The food was good and whilst atmosphere was not great because we were the only ones there for an early lunch the food was excellent value for money.
Soon yummmm absolutely delicious dishes. If you want to try South Indian cuisins, this is a perfect place with absolute authentic taste.
The restaurant itself looks shabby and not maintained. One of the staff members had bad body odour that lingered where he was sat. The downstairs toilet area was not clean. The place didn’t have a professional or well run look. We ordered the chicken biryani which was not great as biryani’s go. The porottas were excellent and so was the curry. Would probably get a take out next time rather than sit in as the atmosphere isn’t great. We don’t mind cafe style restaurants at all but this one had an odd feel to it as it felt run down.
