Great food although the portions have been made smaller. They have had an upgrade on their interior which was much needed. Staff are friendly and food is always on point.
I tried the mixed grill and chicken donner with naan, and both were absolutely packed with flavour. The meat was tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. The naan came fresh from the tandoor soft, slightly crisp at the edges, and just right for scooping up sauces. Portion sizes are generous, making it great value for money. First time karahi in Bradford and believe me it’s the best mutton karahi I ever eat in uk , come to shimlas and must try their desi karahi , and most important the guy who was serving us Sohail , he doing best serving and I request to his manager give him something extra on weekend , thank you bro .
We had a wonderful experience at Shimlas Restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We were served by Qamar, who was absolutely amazing — such a nice lady and very professional. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Her excellent service truly made our dining experience even better. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back!
