Been to this restaurant hundreds of times and we have never had anything bad. The food is the best in Bradford or even the UK. We are very fortunate that we live in Bradford and can visit often for such wonderful food. People travel from all over to this place. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. You’re not just a customer, you are treated like friends or family. Food is cooked fresh. The place has a loyal customer base. Has recently celebrated its 60th anniversary and hopefully open for many years to come. They have won many awards and well deserved too. The place is currently having a refurbishment. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t be put off by any of the bad reviews, they aren’t for this restaurant. Give the place a try and you won’t be disappointed.
Didn't know this place did desi breakfast previously. Thought it was the next door that did it. However, always on point doesn't dissapoint. Came on Tuesday to order some desi breakfast. However, I left my money and card at home. Told the person in charge the situation. He was very nice and polite, understood and said bring it later it's fine. Took the food home ordered 5 puree, 1 chick pea chana and 1 halwa. Food was hot, amazing and just right. Went back to the restaurant to pay. The person in charge remembered me. His hospitality was amazing he offered me a drink on the house which I obliged he pick for me. He gave me a Rubicon Mango cold and deliciously refreshing. Thank you. This isn't me telling people to go try getting food without paying as they will let you off😂. This is a sign of respect, acknowledgement and trust. Israr you was a true gentleman. May God the almighty shower his blessings upon you and the business always. Guys you need to try they're desi breakfast it is to die for as they say. Been around for ages. Best in the game. Good luck guys. All the best. Amjid.
Craving authentic Pakistani food before my trip, I stopped here and was truly impressed. The Nihari was exceptionally rich, flavourful, and among the best I’ve ever had. Excellent service and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone seeking real Pakistani taste.
I had some business to conclude in Bradford today and I thought I'd nip into the restaurant with my daughter, this place is a hidden gem! The food was amazing and the staff make you feel like family, I can't recommend this place enough. I have great memories of visiting in the 1970s with my parents, this is definitely my favourite place to eat in Bradford, if you want top quality food and a fantastic atmosphere please make sure to visit. It was nice to keep a family tradition going by bringing my daughter as my parents brought me."Love this place" 💚
01/02/2025 Ordered shami kebabs which were nice and chicken bhuna and chips which was good but £10.45 for that portion size and amount of chicken is too expensive. 25/12/2025 Ordered 3 shami kebabs and 1 portion of samosas which came to £17.75. which looking at the image of what I actually got is ridiculous. I had to ask for more sauce and salad as I was only given 2 sauces and no salad. All 3 potions of shami kebabs came in wrapped in the same piece of foil, I was expecting for them to all be separate with their own salads and sauces. There were no cucumbers in the salad but the was some weird leaves. You get more sauce if you get takeaway from the cafe. You get more sauce and salad if you eat in the restaurant and better service from certain waiters. The price of the shami kebabs has gone up from £4.50 to £4.75, the chicken bhuna has gone from £10.45 to £10.95 and the chips have gone from £2.95 to £3.50. The service is getting worse every year. My dad has been coming here since it opened, I have been coming since the 90s and my daughter has been here too. When my wife was pregnant with her she wanted a paratha and she was told she could not have one because the chef that makes them was not in, now that is absolutely appalling.
