Ordered on Deliveroo & delivery was fast. So glad I found this place- so good that it’s all vegan. The food was delicious, portions are generous. We had salt & pepper vegan chicken & spring rolls to start, followed by vegan chicken with ginger & spring onion, tofu satay, one with salt & pepper chips & other fine noodles. Will definitely be ordering again 🤩
Staying locally and decided to get a takeaway from Vegan House. Excellent service, delivery driver came and found me in my campervan and was super friendly. I had the chick’n chow mein and chick’n drumsticks with a plum sauce. Chow mein was good, the drumsticks are breadcrumbed but were very hard and chewy hence I’ve not given a 5* this time. I would happily order again when next in the area.
So, second time of ordering. First time took ages to arrive and was cold but food was okay so thought we’d try again. Very disappointed the second time. Took an hour and ten minutes to arrive when it said 38 max, had to call again as updates are not sent to Uber. Everything was cold. Rice was one big lump, lots of the tofu pieces were rock hard and inedible, vegan prawns looked disgusting and did not taste good. The chips were okay, the spring rolls were nice but both stone cold. And for the second time, the salt and pepper naans were missing. Nicest bit were the fortune cookies. £30+ for 80 minutes, cold, stodgy, missing and tasteless food. 🫤
We ordered a take away but we should have ordered a dessert spoon too. Everything was far too sweet, to the point of being sickly. The dishes were supposed to be savoury and spicy not sugar drenched. What a shame. So much potential spoilt by someone putting too much sugar in the food.
We love this restaurant. Order from here frequently and they never let us down. Great quality food, flavoursome, and great delivery times. 10/10 would recommend.
