This is our own experience with this business, and we know different clients will have different experiences — but we always leave reviews based on the service we received when we ordered or visited. Yangtze – The Broadway Shopping Centre, Bradford (Visited November 6th 2025) First Impressions Yangtze is located in the food court area of The Broadway, and it’s easy to spot with its clean layout and well-presented food options. We were greeted by two very friendly and pleasant ladies who instantly made us feel welcome. Cleanliness & Safety Concerns The kiosk area was clean, tidy, and looked well maintained. The surrounding food court seating was also kept in good condition, with no clutter or mess around the tables. Since it’s located close to the main corridor leading to the public bathrooms and baby changing facilities, everything felt organised and accessible. Food Quality We ordered Salt & Pepper Cauliflower Bites, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and 2 Small Make-Your-Own Boxes. The food was served hot, fresh, and full of flavour. Even when we rewarmed some later, it still tasted great, which says a lot about the quality. Our daughter especially loved the mini spring rolls. Ambience & Surroundings Although Yangtze is a kiosk, the food court provides plenty of open seating with lots of space, making it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your meal. The area felt bright, welcoming, and family-friendly, with a lively but pleasant atmosphere typical of a busy shopping centre. Service & Atmosphere The service was excellent. The two ladies serving us were friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They boxed and bagged our entire order in under eight minutes, even during a busy period. Their helpful suggestions about the meal deals and their positive attitude made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Facilities Being located within The Broadway food court, Yangtze benefits from easy access to the shopping centre’s public bathrooms, baby changing rooms, disabled toilets, and plenty of seating options. It’s a convenient spot for families, shoppers, and anyone wanting a quick and tasty meal without any hassle. I hope this honest review helps others make an informed decision.
Food was absolutely lovely. The lady serving was a bit abrupt and rude but some people are like that. The food was good and you can sit in the food court. Would definitely visit again just hope someone with less attitude to people is serving. Egg fried rice lovely chicken was lovely too
I have ate from here many times over the years but definitely won't be eating here anymore after the last time. Food has gone really down hill and doesn't taste the same as it use to. Such a let down as it is expensive and use to taste really good before. I would look past the price as it usually tasted really good but after eating here now it has really let me down. Only the spring rolls tasted good but now you have to buy them separately when before I would buy them as part of the box.
Takeaway shop in Bradford. The food was absolutely lush and great quantity for the price, also has good vegetarian options, worth the price and the most helpful and kind staff. We really loved it and will visit again.
The staff is really bad. Especially the woman who is incharge. I ordered a large box and despite the fact i asked for curry sauce, the worker put very small amount. When i went next day to complain the woman in charge misbehaved with me. She was treating me like i came to ask something free. I just wanted her to be sorry and to be careful next time. Instead she was asking me to buy sauce next time. I was like im happy to pay for the sauce but you need to understand this is not the right behaviour for business. Im uploading picture of my food as well. Pathetic management.
