Finance Manager
<p>HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a leading construction and manufacturing business, backed by Private Equity and in their next phase of growth, to hire a newly created Finance Manager position. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>About the role:</p> <p>This is a hands-on and varied role, involved in month end process, system changes and process improvements, embedding best practice, and managing a small team. This role is ideal for someone seeking their first step up to a Finance Manager position, offering broad exposure in a fast-growing and successful business. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the management accounting and reporting function across a division of the business</li><li>Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments</li><li>Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors</li><li>Review financial statements, month end and year end accounts</li><li>Conduct variance analysis and investigate any discrepancies</li><li>Business partner operational and commercial leaders, to support business decisions</li><li>Work closely with department heads to develop budgets and forecasts</li><li>Present meaningful financial analysis and commentary</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements</li><li>Ad hoc support to Financial Controller and wider team</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>About You:</p> <ul> <li>ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)</li><li>Strong management accounting or financial reporting background</li><li>People management/mentoring experience</li><li>Proactive and professional in approach</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>What’s on offer:</p> <ul> <li>Salary c£60-65k (dependent on experience)</li><li>Hybrid working</li><li>Strong progression prospects</li></ul> <p><br /></p>
