With ambitious growth plans, significant investment in systems, and a collaborative finance team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a commercially focused environment.</p> <strong>The Opportunity</strong> <p>Reporting into the Finance Director and working within a close-knit finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and helping drive improvements across finance processes.</p> <p>This is an exciting time to join, with the business implementing a new ERP system, giving you the opportunity to be involved in systems development, reporting enhancements, and process improvement projects.</p> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Prepare accurate monthly management accounts with meaningful analysis and commentary.</li><li>Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records.</li><li>Support multiple group entities, ensuring consistent financial reporting and compliance.</li><li>Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.</li><li>Support VAT returns, corporation tax processes and wider statutory compliance.</li><li>Produce product costing information and support costing activities.</li><li>Process staff expenses.</li><li>Contribute to finance improvement projects and provide ad hoc analysis when required.</li><li>Play an active role in the implementation of a new ERP system and the development of financial reporting and analytics.</li></ul> <strong>About You</strong> <p>We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a business that's investing in its future.</p> <p>You'll ideally have:</p> <ul> <li>Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent).</li><li>Around two years' experience in a management accounting role.</li><li>Previous experience within manufacturing or FMCG.</li><li>Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Knowledge of audit support and tax compliance.</li><li>Strong Excel skills.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems or systems implementation would be advantageous.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.</li><li>A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.</li></ul> <strong>What's on Offer?</strong> <ul> <li>Genuine opportunity to influence finance processes during a major systems transformation.</li><li>Stable, profitable and growing business with excellent long-term career prospects.</li><li>Office-based role with occasional flexibility to work from home where required.</li><li>Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (37.5 hours per week).</li><li>Free secure onsite parking.</li><li>Auto-enrolment pension.</li><li>28 days' holiday including bank holidays.</li></ul> <p>If you're looking for a role where you'll gain broad exposure, work closely with senior leadership and help shape the future of a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.</p> <p><strong>Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.</strong></p>
