HSE Manager
<p>Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a high-volume volume manufacturer based in Bradford who are seeking an experienced and proactive <strong>Safety, Health & Environment Manager</strong> to lead and continuously improve Health, Safety, Environmental across a busy manufacturing site. </p> <p>Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key leadership role in developing a positive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence across the business.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE professional who enjoys working collaboratively with managers and employees to create a safe, compliant and high-performing workplace.</p> <p>As HSE Manager, duties & responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the company's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant UK Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures.</li><li>Develop and maintain safe systems of work and operational procedures.</li><li>Manage COSHH compliance and hazardous substance controls.</li><li>Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring compliance with RIDDOR requirements.</li><li>Carry out regular workplace inspections and internal audits.</li><li>Produce SHE performance reports, KPIs and improvement plans for senior management.</li><li>Deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.</li><li>Coordinate emergency planning, fire safety arrangements and evacuation drills.</li><li>Lead monthly Safety, Health, Environment & Quality meetings.</li><li>Drive environmental initiatives including waste reduction, recycling and sustainability improvements.</li><li>Support managers in identifying risks and implementing preventative actions.</li><li>Promote a positive culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.</li></ul> <strong>I'm keen to speak to HSE Manager's with the following skillset: </strong> <ul> <li>NEBOSH Certificate </li><li>Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation</li><li>Background in manufacturing environment </li><li>Excellent risk assessment and accident investigation skills</li><li>Strong report writing and presentation skills</li><li>Good IT skills</li><li>Ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels</li></ul> <p>If you're an experienced Health, Safety & Environment professional looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.</p>
