Senior Contracts Manager

<p>Futures are working with a leading manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join a high-performing projects function.</p> <p>The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the full contract lifecycle across major projects, supplier agreements, and customer-facing commercial arrangements. Given the nature of the work, candidates with a strong background supporting large-scale projects and engineering programmes would bode well.</p> <p>The role will involve close collaboration with project management, procurement, legal, operations, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance while protecting the commercial interests of the business.</p> <p>Key responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Leading the negotiation, drafting, review, and management of complex commercial contracts</li><li>Supporting major manufacturing and engineering projects from bid stage through to delivery and close-out</li><li>Identifying, assessing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks</li><li>Advising project teams on contractual obligations, entitlements, variations, and dispute avoidance</li><li>Managing customer and supplier contractual relationships across multiple workstreams</li><li>Supporting tendering, pricing, and commercial evaluation processes</li><li>Driving contract governance, compliance, and best practice across the business</li><li>Leading negotiations relating to claims, variations, extensions of time, and change control</li><li>Working closely with legal teams to ensure alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements</li><li>Mentoring and supporting junior commercial or contracts professionals where required</li><li>Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial function</li></ul>
