Logistics Operations Team Leader

<p>Futures are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business for a Logistics Operations Team Leader to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to take ownership of internal material flow, lead a dedicated team, and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.</p> <p>As the Logistics Operations Team Leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day movement of materials and equipment across the manufacturing operation, ensuring production teams have everything they need, exactly when they need it. Working closely with suppliers, planners and internal stakeholders, you'll help optimise logistics processes while leading a high-performing team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and support the materials handling team to ensure the efficient movement of materials throughout the manufacturing operation.</li><li>Coordinate supplier deliveries, internal logistics and inventory movements to maintain uninterrupted production.</li><li>Manage ERP stock movements, monitor team performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.</li><li>Develop and enhance internal logistics processes while promoting high standards of safety, quality and customer service.</li><li>Motivate and develop your team, using strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills to deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li></ul> <p>If you're a proactive logistics professional with experience leading teams and improving operational processes, we'd love to hear from you.
