<p>Production Planner</p> <p>Bradford</p> <p>Upto £52,000+ strong benefits</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Yolk Recruitment is supporting an established FMCG manufacturer in Bradford who are looking for a hands on Senior Production Planner to join their team.</p> <p>This is a hands-on planning position suited to someone who has worked in a busy factory environment, owns production plans end-to-end and is confident balancing service, stock and capacity - not just keeping lines running.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Owning short, medium and long-term production plans across a complex FMCG operation</li><li>Balancing customer service, stock levels, labour, materials, capacity and downtime</li><li>Leading a small planning team</li><li>Actively using SAP & APO, including ownership of master data and MRP-relevant materials</li><li>Proactively managing shortages and forward-looking risk</li><li>Planning bulk raw materials and working directly with suppliers</li><li>Managing delists, provisions and waste to protect stock value</li><li>Driving improvements in planning efficiency and ways of working</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <p>Essential</p> <ul> <li>Proven production planning experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience building and owning production plans across multiple horizons</li><li>Strong working knowledge of MRP, MPS, capacity planning and S&OP</li><li>Confident, hands-on use of SAP (APO experience highly valued)</li><li>Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, changeable factory</li><li>Able to challenge, influence and work credibly with senior stakeholders</li></ul> <p>Desirable</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience leading or mentoring planners</li><li>Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement</li><li>Strong commercial awareness around stock, waste and batch economics</li><li>Multi-site or contract packing exposure</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What you'll get in return!</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary of upto £52,000</li><li>25 days holiday</li><li>Competitive pension</li><li>Option to buy additional holiday</li><li>Private medical insurance, life assurance and critical illness cover</li><li>Long-term development in a stable FMCG business</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Ready to Apply?</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p>If you are an experienced Production looking for a well-paid, secure role with great benefits and a strong pension, this could be an ideal next move.
